Wichita pickle jam | September 29
Where: Chicken and pickle
The IMA Foundation prepares for its annual fundraising event, “Wichita Pickle Jam”, at Chicken N Pickle to benefit Wichita Children’s Home and other local non-profit organizations. On September 29, they will host an unforgettable day of doubles pickleball. Teams and participants will enjoy food, drinks, live music and intense pickleball competition! Pickle Jam will also feature a recreational cornhole tournament.

Greater Andover Days | September 30-October 2
Where: Andover, KS
Resilience. Strength. Community. Three words that the Andover community has been no stranger to over the past few months. In April, many members of the Andover community were impacted and affected by the tornado. Neighbors and surrounding communities continued to stand with Andover. We look forward to coming together to celebrate all the community has done over the past few months at Greater Andover Days this fall.

Woofstock 2022 | October 1st
Sedgwick County Park
Gather with thousands of other pet owners and animal lovers for the Kansas Humane Society’s “Woofstock” fundraising event and festival, which has become one of the biggest events of this type in the Midwest. Take part in the Woof Walk & Breakfast, listen to live music from Dangie Music & Tequila Ridge, participate in stage contests, hang out at the beer garden, shop at the vendor stands and eat at the food trucks. Check out activities like ruff runs, dog agility class, kids’ play clinic, photo booth, live demonstrations from the WPD’s K-9 unit, and more!

Kansas Farmer’s Market | October 1st

Wichita Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cook Off | October 1st

With crews from Kansas and surrounding states (about 80 crews!), the Wichita Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cookoff has been a Wichita tradition for over 30 years. Since 2005, when the Wagonmasters took over the event and brought it back downtown, the event has exploded with renewed enthusiasm from attendees and attendees.
