HMV is set to make a big comeback to Southampton’s Main Street this week with a brand new store.
The new store, which creates 18 jobs in the city, opens on Friday November 12 with more than 19,000 different vinyl, 4K HD Blu-Ray and pop culture products available.
The first 75 customers to walk through the doors will receive a free bag of pop culture loot, but all can enjoy amazing in-store deals, including 2 paperbacks for £ 6 through the best of classic cult fiction and drama. music.

Southampton shoppers can also use HMV’s brand new “HMV Book” service, which allows customers to order items that are not in store to be delivered right to their doorstep.
The popular entertainment store was forced to close in 2018 after spending 24 years on Above Bar Street. His company quickly went into receivership, but was later bought by Canadian company Sunrise Records.
Now HMV is back, with the address listed as the old Argos store at 176-178 High Street, SO14 2BR.

Spread over 7,879 square feet and featuring 6,000 different vinyl products, the store is expected to attract signings and performances from huge UK and international artists, as well as grassroots local groups.
In addition, the store will carry 5,500 different CDs, 3,400 4K HD DVD and Blu-ray movies and TV shows, as well as 2,200 pop culture products and 522 different t-shirt designs.
It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
