Let’s start with Célina. Any event at Celina seems to draw a crowd these days. Celina’s town square is even busy on Sundays, when almost all businesses are closed.
Friday evening market in Celina, November 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The open air market has live music and a wide variety of vendors, and you can drink while you shop as it is an open container event.
A ‘Texas BBQ and Music Experience’, the two-day grand opening Troubadours Festival is from noon to midnight on November 6 and 7 at Old Celina Park, and tickets start at $ 50. Acts include Pat Green, Josh Abbott Band, Stoney LaRue and Cody Canada. The event also features vendors at 42 Texas barbecue restaurants, like Lockhart’s Kreuz Market, Amarillo’s Tyler Barbeque, and Fort Worth’s Goldee’s Barbecue, where the queue will be long.
At McKinney, grab a burger or steak and listen to live music at Hank’s Texas Grill. The newly renovated concert hall and restaurant reopened this week after closing during the pandemic. Catch Jake Worthington on Thursday, he placed second in season six of The voice. Austin Red Dirt Micky & The Motorcars performs on Friday and singer-songwriter Tanner Usrey performs on Saturday.
Also to McKinney: If you haven’t been to the Stix Icehouse yet, the massive new bar and restaurant on 14 acres of grounds will feature live music from local artists this weekend. Counterfeit Radio performs on Fridays and Missing 3 has a show on Saturdays. The two cover groups play an eclectic mix of songs.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, enter a pumpkin pie tasting contest or just have a free hot dog at Anna Fall Fest.
In Plano, go to a gorgeous Turkish restaurant, smoke a hookah, and watch a belly dancing show. The European Night is Saturday at Turkish cafe and lounge 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. There will be a live DJ, seats are $ 25 to $ 50 depending on where you want to sit, and menu dinner is included.
In Frisco from noon to 3 p.m. on Sundays, check out the food, drink and art vendors at Frisco Fresh Market. There will also be an autumn zoo with 35 animals, such as goats, sheep, ducks and chickens.
