October has come and gone, and November has arrived. The new month took us from the fall harvest to cooler temperatures, making way for the holidays. November is a fertile monthiIt doesn’t mark the start of daylight saving time (where we gain an extra hour) and time to spend with family and friends for Thanksgiving, and Houston is bringing the season in just the right way.

Pondicheri will be celebrating Diwali all week. The restaurant will be offering a luxurious Araam Thali special until November 7th. The Thali will offer curry of vegetables from the market, Pooris herbs, Sindhi Dal, okra and a sweet rose laddu. In addition, there will be a Sweet Box Diwali containing classic Indian goodies like Besan Mithai, Chocolate Peanut Mithai, Sindhi Laddu available for purchase.
