1. The Fennec

The Fennec is one of the newest additions to downtown Bham and they are already making waves with their live music. Whether you stop for lunch or a late-night snack, you’ll be rocked by great local artists.

2. Measure 31

You can catch a concert every night of the week at Bar 31. Plus, they have a menu filled with southern soul food classics to savor while you listen.

3. Oasis

Live music every night and delicious cocktails sound like an oasis to me. Catch a variety of local shows every night, right in the heart of Lakeview.

True Story has a little something for everyone when it comes to must-see live music. Their free jazz nights feature legends from Alabama, as well as a stage open to all musicians and singers to show off their talent. Plus, they have Blues nights every Tuesday, Punk + Metal shows every month, and local artists multiple weekends.

9. The nickname

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Flag, Kings of Leon and other big names have all graced the Nick scene. For a unique, no-frills concert experience, you can’t miss a show here. In case you missed it, the owner of the Nick is getting ready to open The Margaret downtown, instead of The Atomic Lounge.

10. The Brewpub grocery store

Not only do they have amazing Bushwhackers, but also live music. Most evenings the Brewpub will have a live act on stage.

Personally this is my favorite place to see a tribute band and their quesadillas are to die for. You don’t want to miss it.

12. Dave’s pub

If over 100 different whiskeys aren’t convincing enough, Dave’s offers live poppin music on weekends.
